All about the media partners, sponsors, official brands and support at the 40th Portugal Fashion

The 40th Portugal Fashion, which will be held from 22 to 25 March in Lisbon and in Porto, has sponsorship from brands in different economic sectors. These sponsors are thus associated with an event that has major public visibility and increasing national and international recognition. The sponsors for this event include the technology company, Samsung, and Absolut Elyx, the primium vodka distributed by the group Pernod Ricard. We also have L'Oreal, as the event’s official hair brand, and MAC, the official make-up brand. NYX is the make-up brand at the Bloom fashion shows. The official car of Portugal Fashion is M.Coutinho/Mazda. There is also support from well-known brands such as Ach. Brito, Mazda, Porto., Pedras, Somersby, Carlsberg, Red Bull, Bogani, Arcádia, Topázio, Make Notes, and Sport Zone.

The President added that this is why "investing in Portugal Fashion engenders a positive relationship in terms of evolution and joint growth for both the project and the companies, institutions, and associated brands. Being present at one of the most important fashion events on the Iberian Peninsula clearly means being close to the most dynamic, cosmopolitan and innovative forces in Portuguese society”, he assured.


Samsung is a world-class company with businesses in a variety of areas, including fashion. This is why the technology giant has once again teamed up with Portugal Fashion, for the purpose of creating synergies with the designers, the companies and the public through technology. The company will also interact with the audience attending the Gold Lounge of the Porto Customs House, providing a specific area dedicated to living new experiences where fashion and technology come together.


In the permanent bars of the 40th Portugal Fashion you can enjoy the smooth rich and luxurious taste of Absolut Elyx vodkas. The product designed by the Absolut Company follows the principles of quality, integrity and craftsmanship to achieve the status of liquid silk. Portugal Fashion closing party will be organised jointly with Absolut combining glamour and good music with one of the best vodkas in the world.


The support from SIC and Antena 3 is justified by the media interest in the event. SIC is once again the official channel for Portugal Fashion, as it has been for the last 16 events. The Carnaxide company will be producing and broadcasting four 2-minute programmes on the SIC generalist channel, eight 2-minute programmes on SIC Mulher and SIC Internacional, as well as three 25-minute compact programmes on SIC Mulher and SIC Internacional. The 40th Portugal Fashion spot will also be transmitted for 10 days on the SIC generalist and SIC Mulher channels. The SIC social networks will also be covering the event on the spot, with streaming transmission available connected to the SIC Mulher site.


Antena 3 is the official radio of the 40th Portugal Fashion, as it has been for the last eleven events. This public radio station is planning an advertising campaign for Portugal Fashion which includes daily spots, invitations to the event and a variety of games.


L´Oreal is the official hair brand for Portugal Fashion, responsible not only for all the products used in the preparation of all the fashion shows, but also for the event’s hairdressing services. The fashion stylist Vasco Freitas will be leading the hair teams.


Closely cooperating with the many Portugal Fashion designers, Mac has once again taken responsibility for make-up at the fashion shows. As the official make-up brand for Portugal Fashion, Mac’s participation will involve specialised products and professionals.


Mazda will be the official brand of vehicles of the 40th Portugal Fashion. The Japanese car insignia has once again teamed up with Portugal Fashion. This support comes in the form of transport for the event team between the various fashion show venues.


Joining Portugal Fashion for the first time, NYX will be the make-up brand used at the Bloom fashion shows. The exclusive backstage support proves the attraction potential of Portugal Fashion’s new talent platform. NYX will also be present at the social area of the CTT Palace, with its support to the musical performances which will complement the showcase of the young designers' collections on the catwalk, thus strengthening the brand engagement.


The NH Collection Porto Batalha is the official hotel for the 40th Portugal Fashion, providing accommodation for guests and several media professionals.


In addition to the sponsorships and official brands, there is also a group of organisations that have teamed up with the 40th Portugal Fashion, supporting the event with their own products and services.


The Porto Town Hall has once again associated itself with Portugal Fashion supporting the promotion of the event and its interconnection with the city by granting the areas of the CTT Palace and at Silo Auto.


The jeweller’s founded in 1874 has joined the national brands that provide support for welcoming foreign guests.


The Portuguese stationery company has developed a "necessaire” and a notebook customised with the Portugal Fashion insignia. These are also for the international guests.


Handcrafted Arcádia chocolates have teamed up with national fashion creativity to welcome journalists, buyers and other international guests.


The century-old Portuguese company is launching a soap reflecting Portugal Fashion new identity. The oval soap with the iconic Ach. Brito symbol has one of the classic fragrances of perfumery: the refreshing aroma of citron verbena, where energising notes of lemon stand out from a smooth woody base.


The three Unicer group brands will be available at the permanent bars and the parties at Portugal Fashion. At the social lounge, Pedras and Carlsberg have offered to organise tastings for all the guests. The cider of Somersby will be on the spotlight in the Bloom social area, in the CTT Palace.


The energy drink will once again be "giving wings” backstage at Portugal Fashion.


The coffee breaks before, during or after the fashion shows will be offered by Bogani. Demanding, dynamic and targeting an audience with an active lifestyle, the brand aims to provide moments of sharing and relaxation in the social area in Lisbon and in the Gold Lounge of the Porto Customs House.


The Portuguese sports products brand is supporting the wardrobe for the staff of Portugal Fashion, with customised hoodies.


The media support of Nova Era follows Portugal Fashion before, during and after the exhibition of the proposals for spring/summer 2018. The daily item of the count down to the 40th edition provides the theme for covering the event. Radio Nova Era will also be present at the social areas of the CTT Palace and the Porto Customs House. The background music of the social lounge in the Porto Customs House will be ensured by artists related to the radio station.


The media support of ELLE consists in the distribution of magazines in the hallways to the Porto Customs House catwalk.
