We miss you already, João
We miss you already, João
Portugal Fashion is deeply saddened by João Branco's death and sends its condolences to all his family, friends and team.

João Branco was one of the designers and co-founders of Storytailors', along with Luís Sanchez, making a wonderful creative team - not only forPortugal Fashion's main calendar, but also for Portuguese Fashion, which he enriched so much.

In this terrible moment of pain and sadness, we remember the talent, creativity, hard work and joy of João Branco. A designer who will always be remembered for creating a unique, reference brand in Portugal, which reflects his way of seeing and working with Fashion, such as Storytailors. We cherish his wonder for stories and metaphors, his dedication to every item, every collection, every fashion show. We remember his love for fashion, which, today, becomes sadder, by losing such a special talent.

João Branco and Luís Sanchez created Storytailors in 2001, after finishing their studies in Fashion Design at Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Being a big reference in Portugal Fashion's national calendar, the team accomplished, with the project's support, five participations in Paris Fashion Week, a show in Mozambique Fashion Week and several editorials in some of the most prestigious national and international fashion magazines.
